My parents made up my name, taking the french words for angel and moon. When I was a kid, I was always called Angelune “dans la lune,” the literal translation is to be “in the moon” but it means something like to have your head in the clouds. Conveniently, as a kid I was also a bit of a space cadet, or at least often away in my own little world.
These days I still have trouble concentrating on anything that isn’t fun, but one thing that I lose myself in is making things with my hands. My first love was sewing, but now I also have a second love, crochet. Making things has become my little escape pod from earthly worries.
I enjoy making things for friends and strangers, and sometimes for myself. If you like something you see on this blog or in my etsy shop, let me know! I’d love to hear from you.
I am also a cheerleader for the Toronto craft community and a proud member of the Toronto Craft Alert team.
